School Uniform

The uniform is designed to give a good standard of dress while being easy to provide and our aim is to encourage children to take pride in their appearance.  The children come to school in PE kits on the days they have PE.  Your child’s class teacher will let you know which days these will be at the start of the school year.

Key Stage 1

Navy skirt, navy pinafore dress or grey trousers.

Pale blue polo shirt (ties are not required to be worn in KS1).

Navy cardigan or crew necked sweatshirt.

Plain white, grey or navy socks or plain navy tights.

Black or navy shoes (shoes with high heels, flip flops, beach sandals or platform soles should not be worn for health and safety reasons).

During the summer (summer term until October half term) pale blue gingham (check) dresses may be worn.

PE Kit:  Navy t-shirt, navy blue shorts or joggers, black pumps and white or grey socks (tights must not be worn for PE).

 

Key Stage 2

Pale blue shirt or blouse (long or short sleeved) to be worn with the School tie.

Navy cardigan or V-necked jumper (not round or crew-necked).

Plain white, grey or navy socks or plain navy tights.

During the summer (summer term until October half term) pale blue gingham (check) dresses may be worn. 

Black or navy shoes (shoes with high heels, flip flops, beach sandals or platform soles should not be worn for health and safety reasons).

PE Kit:  Navy t-shirt, navy blue shorts or joggers, black pumps and white or grey socks (tights must not be worn for PE).

Swimming:  A one piece swimming costume/swimming shorts towel and waterproof bag.

Outdoor games:  Training shoes.

Optional equipment:   Navy blue tracksuit.

 

Footwear: Training shoes are not allowed to be worn in school except for playtimes and games lessons.  Shoes with high heels or platform soles should not be worn for health and safety reasons.

Hair:  Navy blue/dark, plain headbands and bobbles to be worn in school.  Coloured holiday braids in hair, hair with letters/patterns cut into it are not permitted in school.

Jewellery:  Jewellery (other than watches or small stud earrings) is not allowed to be worn in school. If children do wear studs during the school day, these must be removed for P.E. lessons and swimming for health and safety reasons.

Parents are asked to name all items of clothing

School ties (KS2) are kept in stock and can be purchased from the school office.  Payment will be made via School Gateway.
