Mothering Sunday

I hope all our mums had a lovely, relaxing Mother’s Day on Sunday.  The two assemblies led by Foundation and Key Stage 1 certainly showed us how special our mums are and why we love them so much.  The children were fantastic, their singing was great and the messages they shared about their mums were very much from the heart.  Thank you for all the generous cake donations we received and to our group of volunteers who prepared and served in the two coffee mornings.  The morning was a huge success and I know from speaking to lots of mums there, a very enjoyable time was had by all those who came along.  We raised over £200 for the Tim Parry & Jonathan Ball Peace Foundation.  The bombing happened 25 years ago and we will be supporting the charity further by taking part in the ‘Colours for Peace’ fundraising event.

Dates for Diaries
