Welcome

St. Wilfrid's is a Church of England Primary School, which encourages strong links with home, church and the wider community.
We aim for high standards in all we do and try to provide high quality of provision in support of pupil's achievements. Our aim is to work as a Christian community, which welcomes children and values them as individuals.
Children are encouraged to develop their self-esteem, individual potential and self-reliance.
We welcome you to our school website and invite you to learn more about the school. We hope we can give you a full picture of school life and keep you informed on forthcoming events.

Top Tips for Online Safety

Online Gaming

This generation of children is growing up immersed in technology, as ‘digital natives’, which presents fantastic
opportunities for children to find out about their interests at a few taps of a screen.
Children also have ways of communicating with others in their play, through online gaming,
in ways that were not available just a few short years ago. Whilst this is clearly an incredible use of technology, and children are learning at a very fast rate about
communication, there are also issues which we, as teachers and parents, need to address.
Childnet offers some great advice on how we can help keep our children safe online. Click here for more information.
